I have been advised by a number of people not to complete my 12 week training plan for the 10 mile run early. At week 8 of the training plan I am supposed to do a 10k run so I have entered the Flitwick 10k – a 10k run in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.
So what I am going to do is an 8 week training plan for the 10k which takes place on the 18th April which is 12 weeks before the NF10 10 miler. I will then start the 12 week training plan for the NF10 which will culminate with the race on the final day of the 12 weeks as designed.
